Ch. 32 LAWS OF MARYLAND

CHRISTMAS DAY HOLIDAY SHALL RECEIVE OVERTIME COMPENSATION
THAT IS COMPUTED BY:

(I) RECEIVING A COMPENSATORY DAY OFF; AND

(II) DIVIDING THE NORMAL DAILY RATE OF
COMPENSATION BY THE NUMBER OF HOURS IN THE WORKDAY AND
MULTIPLYING THE RESULTING QUOTIENT BY ONE AND ONE-HALF
TIMES THE NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED DURING THE HOLIDAY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990
is an emergency measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public health and safety, has been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths
of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall
take effect from the date it is enacted.

AN ACT concerning

Stormwater Management - Regulations

FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of the Environment to adopt regulations
to specify minimum requirements for the inspection and maintenance of
Stormwater -practices; and making a technical change.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 4-203(b)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1987 Replacement Volume and 1989 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Environment

4-203.

(b) [By July 1, 1983, the] THE Department shall adopt rules and regulations
which establish criteria and procedures for Stormwater management in Maryland. The
rules and regulations shall:

(1) Indicate that the primary goal of the State and local programs will be
