Section 12-308.1(b)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

12-308. 1.

(b) The Board may renew the license and issue a certificate of renewal to a
pharmacist who presents acceptable evidence that the pharmacist was unable to comply
with subsection (a) of this section [due to circumstances beyond the pharmacist's
control].

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.

AN ACT concerning

State Board of Dental Examiners

FOR the purpose of authorizing the State Board of Dental Examiners to adopt
regulations governing the release of patient dental records; requiring dentists who
are not graduates of dental schools approved by the Board to complete a specified
amount of formal general clinical training in a United States or Canadian
institution before they may qualify for a waiver of the qualifications for licensure
to practice dentistry; and making a technical change.
