SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Transportation

13-921.

(a) In this section, "farm truck" means a farm vehicle that:

(1) Is a Class E (truck) vehicle; and

(2) Has a shipping weight of its chassis and battery, as certified by the
manufacturer, of more than 3/4 ton.

(c) For each vehicle registered under this section, the annual registration fee is
based on the maximum gross vehicle weight, as follows:

Maximum Gross Weight Fee (Per 1,000 Pounds
Limit (in Pounds) or Fraction Thereof)

10,000 (minimum) - 40,000 $2.75
40,001 - [55,000] 65,000 (maximum) $3.00

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.

AN ACT concerning

Funerals - Pre-Need Funeral Contracts - Irrcvocobility Irrevocable Trusts

FOR the purpose of allowing the buyer of a pre-need funeral contract to make that
contract an irrevocable trust for a certain purpose under certain circumstances;

specifying certain provisions of the trust; providing that, under certain
circumstances, the buyer of a pre-need funeral contract or other certain

individuals may appoint, at any time, a different funeral director as trustee of the
irrevocable trust; and generally relating to making pre-need funeral contracts and
