ANY PROCEEDING THE BOARD CONDUCTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS
SECTION.

(2) IF A PERSON FAILS TO COMPLY WITH A SUBPOENA ISSUED
BY THE BOARD UNDER THIS SUBSECTION, THE BOARD MAY PETITION A
COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION TO COMPEL COMPLIANCE WITH
THE SUBPOENA.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.

increase in the number of members of the Montgomery County Council; and
providing for a delayed effective date.
