38.

(a) [(1) (i) In Prince George's County, a holder of any retail license may not
sell in a sealed package or container less than 200 milliliters of any alcoholic beverage
except beer and wine.

(ii) 1. The provisions of subparagraph (i) of this paragraph do not
apply to the holder of any Class B beer, wine and liquor license approved for use in an
establishment which is a hotel as defined in § 19(s)(3).

2. Alcoholic beverages (other than beer and wine) in sealed
containers of under 200 milliliters may be sold to guests of a hotel who are 21 years of
age or older only from locked prestocked private bars located within individual guest
rooms and charges must be reflected upon the respective guest room bill.

3. If a room is rented to a guest under the age of 21, the hotel
management shall be responsible for removing the bar key from the room.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 38(a)(2),
(3), (4), (5), and (6), respectively, of Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages of the Annotated
Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 38(a)(l), (2), (3), (4), and (5),
respectively.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.

FOR the purpose of authorizing a master in Prince George's County to accept
admissions in delinquency cases; clarifying language; making stylistic changes;
providing for the application of this Act; and generally relating to juvenile causes
before a master in Prince George's County.
