DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Obsolete language in § 6-201(d) of the State Finance and
Procurement Article.

Occurred: The reference to the Federal Savings and Loan Corporation
became obsolete with the passage of the Financial Institution^ Reform,
Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989 which transferred the insurance
powers of the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation to the
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Resolution Trust
Corporation. The reference to the Maryland Savings-Share Insurance
Corporation became obsolete with the passage of Ch. 6, § 3, Acts of 1985 1st
Special Session, which merged the Maryland Savings-Share Insurance
Corporation into the Maryland Deposit Insurance Fund Corporation. That
Act also limited the period during which the Fund could insure deposits, and
set June 30, 1989 as the last date on which an association could be a member
in the Fund. The limitation is codified at §§ 10-117 and 10-118 of the
Financial Institutions Article.
