Ch. 563 LAWS OF MARYLAND
General Assembly that the adjustment to the Governor's retirement allowance provided
in Section 1 of this Act shall apply to a person serving in the office of Governor after
January 17, 1979, and shall be construed to apply prospectively only.
SECTION 3 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to Article
III, Section 35 of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may not be construed to extend
or apply to the salary or compensation of the Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller,
Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, or Treasurer in office on the effective date of
this Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning the salary or compensation of the
Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, or
Treasurer shall take effect at the beginning of the next following term of office.
SECTION 3 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.

AN ACT concerning
Baltimore County - Alcoholic Beverages - Off-Sales
FOR the purpose of permitting the holder of any retail class of Baltimore County
alcoholic beverages license to exercise the off-sale license privilege on the Sunday
before New Year's Day; altering the hours of sale for these Sundays and holidays;
and generally relating to alcoholic beverages sales in Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
90.
(a) (1) [No] A retail dealer holding a Class B or C license [shall be permitted
