SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

167.

(a) The attorney for the County Commissioners for Kent County shall also be
the attorney for the liquor control board for Kent County and shall receive as
compensation for his services the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) per
annum in addition to the salary that he receives as attorney for the County
Commissioners for Kent County.

(b) The department of liquor control for Montgomery County shall [be immune
from all suits for damages and shall be subject to suit only for the enforcement of
contracts made by it] HAVE THE IMMUNITY FROM LIABILITY DESCRIBED
UNDER TITLE 5, SUBTITLE 3 § 5-318 OF THE COURTS AND JUDICIAL
PROCEEDINGS ARTICLE.

Article 20 - Tri-County Council of Southern Maryland

2-301.

Without limiting or restricting the general powers conferred by this article, the
Council may do any of the following:

(b) Sue. However, the Council [is immune from being sued] SHALL HAVE
THE IMMUNITY FROM LIABILITY DESCRIBED UNDER TITLE 5, SUBTITLE 3
§ 5-319 OF THE COURTS AND JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS ARTICLE;

Article 20A - Tri-County Council of Western Maryland

2-202.

Without limiting or restricting the general powers conferred by this article, the
Council may do any of the following:
