Ch. 492 LAWS OF MARYLAND

THAN § 4-4 FOR WHICH A SPECIFIC PENALTY IS PROVIDED, IS GUILTY OF
A MISDEMEANOR AND SHALL BE PUNISHED BY A FINE NOT EXCEEDING
TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000.) OR BY CONFINEMENT IN THE HOUSE
OF CORRECTION FOR A PERIOD NOT TO EXCEED THREE (3) YEARS, OR
BOTH SUCH FINE AND IMPRISONMENT AND SHALL HAVE HIS LICENSE
REVOKED AND IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO OBTAIN ANOTHER LICENSE FOR A
TWO YEAR (2 YEAR) PERIOD FOLLOWING THE REVOCATION.

(RESERVED)

CHAPTER 8
BOND SALES

8-1. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND HEARING REQUIRED PRIOR TO SALE
AND ISSUANCE OF BONDS.

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SHALL GIVE PUBLIC NOTICE PRIOR
TO TAKING ANY ACTION WHICH MAY RESULT IN THE SALE OF BONDS.
THIS NOTICE SHALL BE BY ADVERTISEMENT IN ONE (1) OR MORE
NEWSPAPERS PUBLISHED OR OF GENERAL CIRCULATION IN THE
COUNTY AND SHALL BE PRINTED AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK FOR THREE (3)
CONSECUTIVE WEEKS. THE NOTICE SHALL STATE THAT IN NOT LESS
THAN THREE (3) WEEKS IN THE FUTURE, THE BOARD WILL MEET IN
PUBLIC HEARING TO PERMIT ANY RESIDENT OF THE COUNTY TO
APPEAR AND TESTIFY CONCERNING THE PROPOSED ISSUANCE OF THE
BONDS. THE NOTICE SHALL ALSO STATE THE TIME AND PLACE OF THE
MEETING.

ARTICLE I

REESTABLISHMENT OF BOUNDARY LINE
BETWEEN ST. MARY'S AND CHARLES COUNTIES

10-1. COMMISSIONERS APPOINTED.

A COMMISSIONER FROM ST. MARY'S COUNTY, A COMMISSIONER
FROM CHARLES COUNTY AND A COMMISSIONER FROM PRINCE
GEORGE'S COUNTY ARE HEREBY APPOINTED COMMISSIONERS TO
REESTABLISH, SURVEY AND MARK THE BOUNDARY LINE BETWEEN ST.
MARY'S AND CHARLES COUNTIES.

10-2. COMMENCEMENT OF DUTIES.

SAID COMMISSIONERS, AS SOON AFTER MARCH 20, 1902, AS
PRACTICABLE AND NOT LATER THAN THE FIRST DAY OF JUNE 1902,
SHALL PROCEED TO THE PERFORMANCE OF THE DUTIES IMPOSED UPON
THEM BY THIS ARTICLE.
