WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 437

Anne Arundel County have until June 1, 1992, to present evidence satisfactory to the
Board of Public Works that the matching fund will be provided. If satisfactory evidence
is presented, the Board shall certify this fact to the State Treasurer and the proceeds of
the loan shall be expended for the purposes provided in this Act. If this evidence is not
presented by June 1, 1992, the proceeds of the loan shall be applied to the purposes
authorized in § 8-129 of the State Finance and Procurement Article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July June 1, 1990.

AN ACT concerning

Property Tax Assessment - Valuation Records

FOR the purpose of making applicable to nonresidential property a requirement that
the Department of Assessments and Taxation provide certain property taxpayers
copies of assessment worksheets and cards for comparable property under certain
circumstances; and providing an exception for certain statements applicable to
comparable properties.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 14-201(c)(2)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1986 Volume and 1989 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Tax - Property

14-201.

(c) The Department shall provide a copy of assessment worksheets and cards
that relate to a property valuation:

(2) EXCEPT FOR INCOME AND EXPENSE STATEMENTS, to any
person who pays property tax, if the person:

(i) seeks the worksheets and cards for other comparable
[residential] property;

(ii) has a timely filed and pending appeal under Subtitle 5 of this title
