Families

In addition to the appropriation shown on

page 13 of the printed bill (first reading file

bill), to reflect the transfer of general fund

appropriation necessary to fund the

adoption resource coordination activity

which was inadvertently budgeted in the

Office for Handicapped Individuals.

OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS

It is the intent of the General Assembly that

when administrative hearing functions are

transferred to the Office of Administrative

Hearings by an agency, all positions

responsible for those functions shall be

transferred to the Office of Administrative

Hearings and not retained by the agencies

for other duties. The Office of

Administrative Hearings shall provide a

report to the budget committees by

October 1, 1990, which lists all positions

being transferred by agency. This report

should identify any positions responsible

for administrative hearing functions which

are not being transferred.

23.01.11.01 General Administration

To become available effective January 1,

1990 to provide funds for the operation of

the Office of Administrative Hearings.

Funds are appropriated in the

Departments of Personnel, Health and

Mental Hygiene, Human Resources,

Licensing and Regulation, Transportation,

Natural Resources and Environment; and

the Human Relations Commission to pay

for the services provided by this program.
