Said resolutions were then sent to the Senate.

Mr. Ford moved that Twenty thousand copies be printed
for the use of the House.

Mr. Landing moved to strike out "twenty" and insert
"ten."

Mr. Miller moved as a substitute "Twenty-Five;"
Which was sustained,

And the order as amended was adopted, and Twenty-five
Thousand copies ordered to be printed for the use of the
House.

On motion of Mr. Ford,

The rules were suspended to enable him to report favora-
bly upon the bill entitled, an act for the observance of the
Sabbath day, and amendatory of the Public General Laws, of
Maryland, article 30, sections 178,179, 180;

Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on the Judiciary.

On motion of Mr. Legg,
At 2 3-4 o'clock the House adjourned.
