The rules were suspended and the bill was reconsidered to
its second reading.

Said bill being upon its second reading,

Mr. Wallis proposed the following amendment:

Insert after the word "not" in the 8th line, the words
"being implements of husbandry, nor exceeding $100 in value
nor;"

Which was adopted.

The bill as amended, was then read the second, and by
special order the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follow:

to the Sergeant-at-arms twenty dollars, for expenses incurred
in executing the order of the House, of Saturday last, for
summoning members;
