The House took up for consideration

The bill entitled, an act to prevent the prosecution of cer-
tain offences in the city and county of Baltimore;

Which was read the second time.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following:

A bill entitled a further additional supplement to an act
entitled, an act to establish and incorporate a Medical and
Chirurgical Faculty or Society in the State of Maryland;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays," with amendment:

Strike out in the fourth line of 1st section the word
"such," and insert the words "any ten."

Also, a bill entitled,, an act to amend article XX of the
Code of Public Local Laws, by repealing the 91st section
thereof relating to jurors in Talbot county, and substitu-
ting a new section therefor;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

Mr. Roop, from a select committee, reported favorably upon
a Senate bill entitled, an act to legalize and make valid the
acts, doings and proceedings of the Burgesses and Commis-
sioners of Uniontown, in Carroll county,

Which was read the second, and by special order the third
