Mr. Worthington, from the select committee, reported a
bill entitled, an act to make valid and legal the acts and pro-
ceedings of the Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike Company;

Which was read the first time.

On motion of Mr. Miller,
At 1 o'clock the House adjourned.

THURSDAY, June 6, 1861.

The House met and was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr. Zacharias.
