TUESDAY, May 7th, 1861.—4 O'CLOCK, p. M.

Mr. Franklin submitted the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

May 7th, 1861.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We hereby transmit to your body a copy of the resolutions of a
Public Meeting, held in Annapolis on the 3d Inst., subject to
your disposal.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of Dele-
gates.

Mr. Smith submitted the following message:
