Mr. Whitaker submitted the following

AMENDMENT:

Amend by striking out "One thousand one hundred and sixty-
two," and insert "Nine hundred and nine;"

Which was adopted.

Said bill was then read the third time, and rejected by yeas and
nays as follows:

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the following
bill:

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 75th Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, relating to pleadings, practice and proofs,
by adding a section thereto, to authorize the removal of equity
causes in the Superior Court of Baltimore city, and in the Circuit
Court for Baltimore city, from one to the other of those courts;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee
on Judicial Proceedings.

The hour for the order of the day having arrived,

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the act passed on the 10th
flay of May, 1861, entitled, An act to repeal the 19th section of
Article 29 of the Code of Public General Laws, and the proviso
to the 33d section of the 5th Article of the said Code, relating to
the stay of executions, and to extend the time for enforcing the
execution of judgments, the following sections, restricting the
operations of said act in certain particulars,

Was taken up.
