WEDNESDAY, July 31st, 1861.

On motion of Mr. Brooke,

Leave was granted Messrs. Brooke, McKaig and Townsend,
to report a bill to change the place of holding elections in the
Sixth Election District of Prince George's county.

On motion of Mr. Brooke,

Leave was granted Messrs. Brooke, Heckart and Golds-
borough, of Dorchester, to report a bill to pay Charles S. Mid-
dleton, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George's county,
certain fees, due from the State.

On motion of Mr. Brooke,

Leave was granted Messrs. Brooke, Smith and Whitaker, to
report a bill to amend Article 93, section 253, of the Code of
Public General Laws, relating to the bonds of Registers of Wills.

Mr. Kimmel submitted the following message:

July 31st, 1861.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates are respectfully reminded
that the Senate of Maryland, on the 7th of June last, passed a
joint resolution to hoist the "National Flag" on this building
during the Extra Session.

At this late period, the Senate most earnestly desire your favor-
able action on the said resolution.
