A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 93rd Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, by adding thereto a section limiting the
effect of the exception of actions "for anything done to the per-
son," made in the 10th section of said Article,

Was taken up.

Mr. Whitaker offered, to the first section, the following

AMENDMENT I

Amend first line of first section after the words "used in the,"
by inserting "one hundred and ——."

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. McKaig,

A call of the Senate was ordered, when the following Senators
answered to their names :
