Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that had the Fred-
erick county Senator been present, during the last evening ses-
sion, he would have voted in the negative on the passage of the

In reference to Tench Tilghman, as Major General of the Sec-
ond Division of Maryland Militia; also, on the act to amend the
75th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, and on the act
to amend the 10th Article of the Code of Public General Laws.

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 38th Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, by repealing the 2d section thereof, and
substituting therefor the following, in relation to fees of officers,
