THURSDAY, June 20th, 1861.

On motion of Mr. Stone,

Leave was granted Messrs. Stone, Lynch and Smith to report
a bill to authorize the Commissioners of Washington county, in
their discretion, to guarantee the bonds of the Western Maryland
Railroad.

On motion of Mr. Heckart,

Leave was granted the Committee on Militia to report a bill to
abolish the State Armories at Easton, Talbot county, and at
Frederick city, Frederick county, as well as the office of Armorer
at these Armories, and authorize said real estate on which said
Armories are located to be sold, and the proceeds of such sales to
be placed in the Treasury of the State.

Mr. Goldsborough, of Talbot, submitted the following mes-
sage:

BY THE SENATE,

June 19th, 1861.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable Body,
to adjourn on Monday next, at 12 o'clock, M., sine die, and for
that purpose submit for your action the following joint resolution:

Resolved by the General Assembly, That the two Houses of this
General Assembly adjourn sine die on Monday next, at 12
o'clock, M.
