Further proceedings under the rule were dispensed with.

The bill was taken up, and rejected by yeas and nays as fol-
lows :

Franklin, Smith,

Heckart, Stone,

Kimmel, Whitaker—10.

NEGATIVE.

Messrs. Brooke, President; Lynch,

Dashiell, Watkins—5.
Goldsborough, of Talbot;

Mr. Franklin moved to re-consider the vote by which the bill
was rejected.

The yeas and nays being demanded, appeared as follows:
