The vote was re-considered by which the bill was rejected,
and the bill was laid upon the table.

Mr. Dashiell, from a select committee, to whom was referred
the following bill, reported favorably the same:

A bill, entitled, An act to add new sections to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Worcester county, under the head of oys-
sters;

Which was read the second time.

The following message was received from His Excellency,
Governor Hicks, through the hands of Thos. J. Wilson, Esq.:

FREDERICK CITY, June 19, 1861.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

I received yesterday an official copy of an order passed by
your Honorable Body on the 8th instant, requesting me "to send
to the Senate a list of all military and civil appointments made
by me to any military or civil office, since the 10th day of March,
1860, and which, by the Constitution, require confirmation by
the Senate."

In response thereto, I have to say, that the Constitution re-
