Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 4th Article of the Code of
Public Local Laws, relating to the city of Baltimore, authorizing
the Board of Police of said city to cause the closing of barrooms,
bars, drinking houses, and liquor shops, in said city, and the sale
or furnishing of liquor thereat, when necessary for the preserva-
tion of the public peace,

Was taken up, read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays as follows:


AFFIRMATIVE.

Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to election
districts in Caroline county.
