A bill, entitled, An act appropriating a sura of money for the
payment of Outerbridgge Horsey, for services rendered as Com-
missioner to the State of Virginia;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee
on Finance.

A bill, entitled, An act to repeal the 4th section of the 4th
Article of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the Inspec-
tors and Weighers of Hay, and to insert in lieu thereof the fol-
lowing section————:

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee
on Agriculture.

Mr. Kimmel, from a select committee, reported favorably the
following:

A bill, entitled, An act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners for Frederick county to build a new Court House for
Frederick county, to borrow money on the credit of the county,
to issue bonds for the payment of the same, and to levy taxes on
the assessable property of the county to redeem said bonds, and
to pay the interest thereon;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. McKaig, from a select committee, reported favorably on
the following:

A bill, entitled, An act to authorize and empower Francis Mat-
tingly to erect gates upon a road, passing near his house, to the
Catholic church, near Mount Savage;

Which was read the second time.

Mr. McKaig, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably on the following:

A bill, entitled, An act to authorize the Vestry of St. Peter's
church, in the town of Salisbury, in Somerset county, to take,
have and hold a lot of land devised by the last will and testament
of William Henry Dulany;

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 65lh section of the Code
of Public Local Laws, of Somerset county, relating to Justices of
the Peace and Constables, by adding thereto the following ——;

A bill, entitled, An net to amend the 16th Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, by adding thereto the following section,
relating to injunctions ——;

A bill, entitled, An act to repeal the 26th section of the 5th
Article of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to appeals
