November 18, 1785-November 30, 1786
Jeremiah Town ly Chase James Brice Gabriel Duvall (R)
John Kilty Samuel Turbutt Wright William Paca (E R)
1 Carroll was elected president on January 18, 1786, to replace Plater, who had a leave of absence.
2 Duvall resigned from the Executive Council on April 20, 1786, because of his opinion that the "late Act to vest certain
Powers in the Governor and Council, is repugnant to the Constitution and Form of Government of this State....."
William Paca, who was elected on April 27 to replace Duvall, resigned on November 4, 1786, in order to take his seat
in the House on November 6, 1786.
