FATHER. Edward Reynolds (?-1744), son of John
Reynolds (?-by 1714). BROTHER: possibly Ed-
ward Reynolds, Jr., who was inspector of to-
bacco, 1729. SISTERS: Mary, who married Joseph
Wilson; (first name unknown), who married (first
name unknown) Allen. MARRIED Frances (?-by
1778), daughter of Thomas Holland (?-1742) and
wife Sarah; stepdaughter of Robert Freeland (?-
1757). Frances was the granddaughter of both
William Holland (?-1732) and Thomas Frisby
(1681-ca. 1715/16). She was the niece of Frances
Holland (?-1724), who married Philip Thomas
(1693/94-1762). Her brother was Thomas Hol-
land. Her half brothers were Peregrine Freeland

were Sarah Ariannna; Margaret; and Mary. CHIL-
