1 The validity of Steuart's election as a delegate from Annapolis was again questioned through petition from Henry
Woodward, who sought to disqualify some of the votes cast for his opponent. After some discussion, both parties
agreed to avoid "giving the House any further Trouble in this Controversy," and requested that the election "so far as
it concerns them should be declared Void." The Lower House called for a new election, at which time Steuart was
again returned. He requalified on April 4, 1759.

2 The members on all Lower House standing committees appointed during the first convention were reapointed to con-
tinue in the first session and second convention, but the only names relisted were the members on the Committee of
Bills of Credit-Paper Currency. All committees were individually relisted in the second and third sessions. During the
third convention the Lower House members of all third session standing comittees were reappointed to continue, but
again the only names relisted were the members on the Committee of Bills of Credit-Paper Currency. An Upper House
member of this committee was named each session.
