1 Upon petition of the freeholders of St. Mary's County, Key's election was declared invalid and he was dismissed on
October 12, 1757. A new election was called, and Key was returned, requalifying on November 19, 1757.

2 The petition of Henry Woodward, complaining of the illegal election of Steuart as a delegate from Annapolis, was
upheld. On October 1, 1757, the Lower House ordered Steuart's name erased from the election return and Woodward's
name inserted in its place.

3 During the convention the members on the committees of Accounts, Arms and Ammunition, Bills of Credit-Paper
Currency, and Public Offices were relisted. During this same session the members on the committees of Elections and
Grievances appointed in the first session were appointed to continue, but were not relisted. The members of all standing
committees appointed in the convention were reappointed to continue in the second session, but the only names relisted
were those of the members on the Committee of Bills of Credit-Paper Currency.

4 This committee was established as a "Committee to inspect into the several Public Offices, and Report to the House
the State and Condition thereof."
