The ranking of Upper House members as given in the proceedings varies. Members are listed here in the usual order
of seniority.
The precise reason for Brooke's dismissal is unknown.
Originally elected a delegate to the Lower House from Talbot County, James Lloyd was appointed to the Council on
the last day of the first session.
' The first few pages of the Lower House proceedings for the second session are missing. It is presumed that the original
committee members appointed in the first session were reappointed in the second session, and that Sherwood, E.
Wright, and Bordley, who were added late in the first session, were not reappointed. The proceedings of the third ses-
sion state that the second session committee members were to be reappointed, but these members are not specifically
named. It is assumed that Bozman and S. Wright, who were added in the middle of the second session, were not in-
cluded in this reappointment.
