HENRY LLOYD, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR

incorporating the Trustees of Friendship
School, is hereby repealed and re-enacted, to
read as follows :

SECTION 3. That an election for three Trus-
tees of Friendship School shall be held at the
school house on the first Saturday in April, in
the year eighteen hundred and eighty-six, and
on the first Saturday of every alternate year
thereafter, at which every legal voter in the
school district shall be entitled to vote; the

Trustees shall give at least one week's notice
of the election and of the hour for opening the
polls, by posting said notice on the school-
house door; the persons chosen at such elec-
tion as Trustees shall serve for two years and
until their successors are elected; in case of a
vacancy by death, resignation, refusal to act
or removal from the district, the remaining
Trustees shall fill the vacancy for the unex-
pired term.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 452.

AN ACT to refund to Richard Baldwin the
sum of fourteen dollars and sixty-seven
cents ($14. 67) paid the State in error.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Comptroller be
