LAWS OF MARYLAND.
CHAPTER 442.

AN ACT to repeal chapter one hundred and
forty-three of the acts of eighteen hundred
and eighty, entitled an act for the better
protection of partridges, woodcock and rab-
bits, and to prevent trespassing with dog or
gun on private property in Talbot county
and also to repeal chapter one hundred and
seventy-eight of the acts of eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-two, entitled an act to re-
strict the shooting of the wood or summer
duck, also known as the a.corn duck, and the
sora or rail, known as the water-rail, in the
county of Talbot, and to enact the following
in lieu thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That chapter one hun-
dred and forty-three, of the acts of eighteen
hundred and eighty, entitled an act for the
better protection of partridges, woodcock and
rabbits, and to prevent trespassing with dog
or gun on private property in Talbot county,

Repealed.

and also chapter one hundred and seventy-
eight of the acts of eighteen hundred and
eighty-two, entitled an act to restrict the
shooting of the wood or summer duck, also
known as the acorn duck, and the sora, or rail,
known as the water-rail, in the county of Tal-
bot, be and the same are hereby repealed and
the following enacted in lieu thereof.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That no person shall
shoot or in any manner catch, kill or have in
possession in Talbot county, any partridge or
