SEC. 28. And be it enacted, That the Deputy

SEC. 29. And be it enacted, That it shall be

manding Officer and the Deputy Commanders
of said force, shall, before entering upon the
discharge of their duties, take before one of the
Judges of the Circuit Courts the oath pre-

to the State of Maryland in the sum of ten
thousand dollars, and each Deputy Commander
in the sum of three thousand dollars, to be
approved by said Judges, for the faithful per-
formance of their duties as prescribed in this
act, the said bond or bonds to be filed with
the Comptroller.

SEC. 31. And be it enacted, That the salary
of the Commander shall be fifteen hundred
dollars, and the salary of Deputy Commanders
