same, the sum of fifty dollars, and also fifty
cents as a fee to the Clerk in addition to that
now allowed by law.
SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That if the person ap-
plying intends to sell spirituous and fermented
liquors in quantities more than a pint, or in-
tends to sell ale and lager beer, or either, and

no other liquors, in quantities less or more
than a pint, whether said person manufac-
tures or brews said liquors or buys them, for
sale, and whether said person pays a State li-
cense or not, the sum of twenty-five dollars
shall be charged for the purpose of this act,
and also the fee of fifty cents to the Clerk as
above provided.
SEC. 4. Be it enacted, That all sums of money
received by the said Clerk under the provisions
of act, except the fees allowed herein, shall be
by him paid over to the County Commissioners

of said county, on the first Monday of March,
June, September and December, to be by them
applied to the payment of Court expenses, and
the bond of the said Clerk shall be liable for
all moneys received under the provisions of
this act, and not paid over as herein directed.
SEC. 5. Be it enacted, That any person viola-
ting any of the provisions of this act, shall be

deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction, be liable to a fine of not less than
fifty dollars nor more than one hundred dol-
lars, or imprisonment in Jail for not more than
sixty days, and shall have his license sup-
pressed, in the discretion of the Court.
SEC. 6. Be it enacted, That any person under
the age of twenty-one years, who obtains by
misrepresentation or false statement as to his
age, any spirituous or fermented liquors from

taining such liquors for a person under said
age by misrepresentation or false statement as
