Providing
judgment.

pay the interest on the outstanding bonds is-
sued under this act as the same shall fall due,
and such further and additional sums as may
be required to gradually redeem said bonds,
until they shall have been paid off, and said
taxes for said purpose shall be collected as
other taxes are collected in said county, and
shall be applied to no other use or purpose
whatsoever.

Effective.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.'

CHAPTER 240.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners of Cecil county to create a
bonded debt, for the purpose of funding a
portion of the floating debt of said county,
and to borrow money to remodel and improve
the Court House, and construct an Insane
Asylum on the grounds attached to the Alms
House; to regulate the expenditure of the
money thus borrowed; to provide for the
payment of the entire debt hereby created,
and to limit the said Commissioners in an-
nual expenditures made hereafter.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the County Commission-
ers of Cecil county be and they are hereby au-
thorized and empowered to borrow the sum of
forty- five thousand dollars on the credit of said
