CHAPTER 227.

AN ACT to change the name of Tuckahoe
creek to Tuckahoe river.

Changing
name.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the branch of Chop-
tank river known as " Tuckahoe creek," be and
the same is hereby changed to Tuckahoe river.

Effective.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 228.

AN ACT to repeal sections thirty-five and
thirty-seven of article sixty-one of the Code
of Public General Laws, relating to Me-
chanics' liens, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Repealed and
re-enacted.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That sections thirty-five
and thirty-seven of article sixty-one of the
Code of Public General Laws, relating to Me-
chanics' liens, be and the same are hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

35. Every judgment rendered on a scire
facias under this article may be enforced by
execution or otherwise as other judgments are ;
but after a scire facias has been issued and
returned, the failure of the lienor to prosecute
