Governor, the Commander-in-Chief, to each
company of said Maryland National Guard,
which shall have complied with the require-

ments of this law, in equal proportion, without
distinction, and that it shall be the duty of the
commanding officer of each of said companies
to receive the share of said money to which
his said company may be entitled, and shall
make quarterly reports to the Adjutant-
General, as to the mode, manner and ex-
tent in and to which he has disbursed said
money, the truth of which said reports shall
be sworn to by said commanding officer.

SEC. 15. And be it further enacted, That the
commanding officer of each company shall give
a good and sufficient bond to the State of
Maryland, to be approved by the Adjutant-
General, for the full and true performance of
his duties under said section fourteen as said
disbursing officer.

SEC. 16. And be it further enacted, That if said
disbursing officer shall fail to fully and prop-
erly report to the Adjutant-General said quar-

terly payment to him by the succeeding quar-
terly day, then it shall be the duty of the Gov-
ernor, the Commarider-in-Chief, to direct the
withholding of any further payment of said
money to said commanding officer until said
officer shall report as aforesaid to the Adju-
tant-General.

Failure to re-
port.

SEC. 17. And be it enacted, That all provi-
sions of existing law inconsistent with the
provisions of this act, be and the same are
hereby repealed.

Repeal.

SEC. 18. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 1, 1886.
