HENRY LLOYD, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

act, and not inconsistent with the Laws and
Constitution of this State; provided, that said
consolidated company shall always have a
business office in this State, and shall be liable
to be sued in the Courts of this State, and shall
be amenable to the process of such Courts.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That said railroad,
warehouses, depots, stations, and all other
houses, and all land belonging to said road, be
exempt from county taxes for fifteen years
from the date of the passage of this act.

SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its pas-
sage.

Approved April 1, 1886.

CHAPTER 131.

AN ACT to provide for an additional Consta-
ble in district number seven, St. Mary's
county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-


sembly of Maryland, That the County Com-
missioners of St. Mary's county be and they
are hereby authorized and empowered to ap-
point an additional Constable in election dis-
trict number seven, St. Mary's county.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after the date of its passage.
