by a majority of the legal voters of Baltimore
city, cast at the time and place to be appointed
by said ordinance in the provision for sub-
mitting the same to the legal voters of said
city, as required by section seven of article
eleven of the Constitution of Maryland.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this
act shall take effect from the date of its pas-
sage.

CHAPTER 122.

AN ACT to repeal sections fourteen and fifteen
of the act of eighteen hundred and seventy,
chapter one hundred and thirty-five, entitled
an act to incorporate the town of Manchester,
in Carroll county, and sections seventeen and
eighteen of the act of eighteen hundred and
seventy-two, chapter ninety-six, relating to
the charter of said town, and to re-enact the
same in an amended or different form.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That sections fourteen
and fifteen of the act of eighteen hundred and
seventy, chapter one hundred and thirty-five,

of eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chapter
ninety-six, relating to the charter of the town

passed by the General Assembly of Maryland,
be and the same are hereby repealed and re-
enacted so as to read as follows :
