quired of them by this act, such Judge, Clerk,
or Sheriff so refusing or neglecting shall be
liable to indictment for such offence, and upon
conviction thereof shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and shall be sentenced to pay a
fine of not less than one thousand dollars and
imprisonment in the jail of the county or city
where such offence may have been committed
for a term of not less than six months.

CHAPTER 113

AN ACT to repeal chapter three hundred and
forty-eight of the acts of eighteen hundred
and eighty, entitled " An act to incorporate
the Fire Insurance Salvage Corps of Balti-
more," and to re-enact the same to read as
follows :

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Treasurer of the
Baltimore Equitable Society, the President of
the Baltimore Fire Insurance Company, the
President of the Fireman's Insurance Com-
pany, the President of the Associated Fire-
man's Insurance Company, the President of the
National Fire Insurance Company, the Presi-
dent of the Howard Fire Insurance Company,
the President of the Peabody Fire Insurance
Company, the President of the Maryland Fire
