CHAPTER 90.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Wash-
ington Grove Camp-Meeting Association of
the District of Columbia and Maryland, as
enacted by the act of eighteen hundred and
seventy-four, chapter one hundred and thir-
ty-five, by adding a new section thereto, and
repealing and re-enacting the second and
sixth sections.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That sections two and
six of chapter one hundred and thirty-five,
act of eighteen' hundred and seventy-four,


incorporating the Washington Grove Camp-
Meeting Association of the District of Colum-
bia and Maryland, be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments, and
that a new section, to be designated as section
6A, be added to said act, to read as follows :

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said associa-
tion shall be able and capable in law to pur-
chase, take, receive, hold and enjoy to them
and their successors, all manner of lands, tene-
ments, rents, annuities, franchises and heredit-
aments, and any sum or sums of money, and
all manner of goods and chattels, and any
kind of property whatsoever, by purchase,
gift, grant, devise, bequest, or in any manner
whatsoever, not prohibited by the laws of this
State, and the same to grant, bargain and sell,
lease, release, confirm, convey, dispose of and
incumber, by judgments, mortgages or other-
wise, and shall have power to contract with
any person or body corporate, in reference to
