	Chapter 57.
	AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the pay-
	ment of counsel fees and costs and expenses in the
	case of James E. Reynolds, an officer of registration
	for the fourteenth election district of Alleghany
	county, whose case was heard and tried before the
	Circuit Court of the United States for the District
	of Maryland, at Baltimore, on the seventh day of
	February, eighteen hundred and eighty.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That the sum of five hundred and
	sixty-nine dollars and forty cents be and the same is
	hereby appropriated for the payment of counsel fees,
	costs and expenses incurred by James E. Reynolds, an
	officer of registration of the fourteenth election dis-	Appropriation.
	trict of Alleghany county, whose case was heard and

	for the District of Maryland, at Baltimore, on the
	seventh day of February, eighteen hundred and
	eighty.
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the comptroller
	of the treasury be and he is hereby authorized and
	directed to issue his warrant upon the state treasurer	Issue warrant.

	cents, as above appropriated.
	SEC 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take	Effective.
