For the support of the militia of the state, to be ex-


pended under the supervision of the governor, under


the provisions of the act of eighteen hundred and sev-


enty, chapter one hundred and eighty-two, fifteen


thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be neces-


sary; for the salary of the adjutant-general of the
