or owners of the house, lot or parcel of land, or deduct

SEC. 27. And be it enacted, That the said com-

|

missioners of Denton shall have power to provide in
|
|
|

any of their by-laws and ordinances, for a fine or
|

imposed upon any person or persons for the violation

thereof; and the said fines or penalties may be re-

covered, in the name of the said corporation, from the

person or persons liable thereto, before any justice of

the peace for Caroline county like other debts; but if
|
|
|
|
any person or persons shall violate any of the ordi-
|
|
|
|
nances or by-laws of said commissioners, by loud or
|
|
|
|
boisterous talking, or by using profane or vulgar
|
|
|
|
language, or by immodest or vulgar behavior or ex-
|
|
|
|
posure, or by otherwise disturbing the peace and good
|
|
|
|
order in said town of Denton, or by obstructing the
|
|
|
|
streets or side-walks with unnecessary assemblies, then
|
|
|

it shall be lawful and it is hereby made the duty of

the bailiff of said town or the sheriff or any constable

of Caroline county to arrest the person or persons so

to take such person or persons before some justice of

SEC. 28. And be it enacted, That at the meetings

of said commissioners of Denton, three shall constitute

quorum may appoint the time for a subsequent meet-

ing and adjourn. And the said commissioners may

SEC. 29. And be it enacted, That the said com-

missioners may appoint the clerk, treasurer, bailiff and
