Chapter 358.


AN ACT to incorporate the Interstate Transportation


and Storage Company of Baltimore city.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That Andrew W. Bostwick, J. Kemp

Incorporation.

Bartlett, Abner Greenleaf, John A. Robb, Wm. L.


Boyd, Thos. H. Tolson, Frank Shipley, C. H. Davis,


Lewis M. Rosenberg, A. H. Wilson and Wm. G.


Hughes, and their associates, successors and assigns, be


and they are hereby constituted a body politic and


corporate, by the name of the Interstate Transporta-


tion and Storage Company of Baltimore city, for the

purpose of owning, leasing, holding, erecting and


maintaining tanks and other receptacles for holding,


receiving, storing and shipping natural gas petroleum,


both crude and refined, and transporting the same


thereto by any known means of conveyance, and of re-


fining petroleum, and of owning, leasing, holding, erect-


ing and maintaining docks, bulkheads, piers, basins,


refining works and warehouses in connection therewith


and in aid thereof, and other works, erections, fix-


tures, appurtenances and appliances necessary or con-


venient for carrying out any of the said purposes,


with power to sue and be sued, and to have and use a


common seal, and alter the same at pleasure, and may


have and exercise all the rights, powers and privileges


provided for in the general incorporation laws of the


State of Maryland, and the supplements and amend-


ments thereto, which may be necessary or convenient


for each and any of the purposes aforesaid; provided,

however, that no power conferred by the provisions of


this act shall be so construed as to interfere with the


harbor of Baltimore city.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said company


may make such by-laws as may be proper or expe-

dient to enable it to carry on the objects of its incor-

or repeal the same; provided, the same shall in no


wise conflict with the constitution and laws of this


state or the provisions of this act, and by such by-laws
