Chapter 173.


AN ACT to add certain sections to article ... of the


Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Garrett


county," as enacted by the act of eighteen hundred


and seventy-eight, chapter one hundred and eight,


said sections to follow section thirty-seven, and to


be numbered thirty-seven A, thirty-seven B and


thirty-seven C, sub title " Fences."


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the following sections be and are

37A. It shall not he lawful for any person or per-


sons to have, erect, maintain or permit to stand upon


his property, any fence or other obstruction along the


side of any public road in said county, so built as to
