SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said Pres-
|

byterian Eye, Ear and Throat Charity Hospital, by
|
|
|
|
said name, shall have, exercise and possess, all and
|
|
|
|
singular, the franchises, rights, corporate powers, priv-
|
|
|
|
ileges and property of said Presbyterian Eye and Ear
|
|
|
|
Charity Hospital, and that a copy of the resolutions
|
|
|
|
of acceptance of the provisions of this act, attested
|
|
|
|
under the corporate seal of said corporation, shall be
|
|
|
|
lodged with the secretary of state within sixty days
|
|
|
|
after the passage hereof, and a copy of the same, duly
|
|
|
|
attested by the secretary of state, shall be evidence in
|
|
|
|
all courts of law or equity of the due acceptance of
|
|
|
|
this act.

|
|
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the dura-

|
|
AN ACT to provide for the protection of Agricul-
|
|
|
|
tural Gardening and Fruit Growing in Middletown
|
|
|
|
Election District, Frederick County, Maryland.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. And be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That if any person or persons shall
|
|
|
|
trespass upon the lands of any other person or persons,
|
|
|
|
or body corporate, that are used for agricultural
|
|
|
|
gardening or fruit growing purposes in Middletown
|
|
|
|
Election District, Frederick County, Maryland, upon
|
|
|
|
conviction thereof before any magistrate or justice of
|
|
|
|
the peace in said county, shall be adjudged guilty of
|

misdemeanor, and shall be fined not less than two
|
trespassing.

|
|
dollars and fifty cents, nor more than five dollars, for
|
|
|
|
the first offence; and not less than five dollars, nor
|
|
|
|
more than ten dollars, for the second offence; and

|
not less than ten dollars, or more than twenty dollars,
|
|
|
|
for the third offence; and for each and every suc-
|
|
|
|
ceeding offence the same as the third offence; and in
|
|
|
|
case the person or persons so offending shall neglect
|
|
|
|
or refuse to pay the said fines so imposed, then the
