DELEGATE MOORE: I do. I would retain the

county residence requirement, but not impose it with

3

respect to the legislative district.

 

THE CHAIRMAN: This is only Baltimore City.

DELEGATE MOORE: We have subdistricts now in

5

Montgomery County.

THE CHAIRMAN: You would not impose it in any

7

of the counties or the city?

DELEGATE MOORE: We have subdistricts for the

9

house and senate.

THE CHAIRMAN: That is a good point.

DELEGATE MOORE: We maintain the county

12

resident requirement, but now in the light of the fact

13

that we will have a realignment, in tho changes of the

14

subdistricts, we may not keep it in for that purpose.

DELEGATE MANDEL: I don't think I agree with

16

any of the points. I think they should be required to

17

be a resident of the district from which they are

18

elected.

MR. ENEY: Why, Marvin?

DELEGATE MANDEL: Well, because I think the
