with the Legislative Department, nevertheless there are

relationships to other articles. We would like to remind

you again that the comments that you make are highly

important. Indeed, our own Committee has kept its work

at a pace, so that we might have this meeting at a very

7

critical moment, when we can draw from you some key

8

ideas which we will use as our source of material and,

9

of course, we will be passing all of that on to the

10

elected convention group.

Now, while we have set forth 14 questions

which Mr. Harvey and Mr. Brooks have sent to you and,

I think, before we start this, it might not be such a

14

bad idea for you to meet the members of our particular

15

Committee and then I think it might be in order for

16

Senator James to have us meet the members of the

17

department. After we have had these introductions, we

18

would like for you to comment on these 14 questions,

19

taking them in the order as listed here, unless there

20

are some reasons why they tie together, and I think we

21

might spend up to about a quarter of 10:00 on them, so
