tainly want it retained, but, I guess — I told you the

reason why I thought they chose it. Mr. Eney would know

better than I would on that.

THE CHAIRLADY: Do you know of any other

6

state constitutions which have such provisions?

7

MR. BURGESS: Yes. There are three or four;

8

I can't tell you — New Jersey has one now, such a pro-

9

vision, and I know there are efforts being made in four

10

or five other states to have such constitutional pro-

11

visions. I guess this would be a general tendency

12

particularly in the states on the eastern seaboard and

13

on the west coast and perhaps maybe in the middle west.
